Garrett based GT1749s wastegated hybrid turbocharger to fit 1.9TDI AHU and 1z transverse engines (Golf, Bora, Jetta etc.)

It started as standard T15 GT1544s unit it has been fully rebuilt and rebore then fitted with VNT17 size both turbine and compressor wheel. CNC cut performance billet compressor wheel has been used to inscrease flows and spool.

Perfect choice for those looking for mild upgrade over stock turbo with good mpgs and increased reliability.

It will safely run up to 20psi sustainable and 22psi peak boost.

Can be used with stock injectors as well as .205 or .216s and stage1 tune.

Estimated power potential 140-160bhp (depending on tune and supporting mods).
